Little Egret began from my love of leatherwork, but over the years has grown to include woven fibres, heavy stitching, wire and beading, and rug tufting.

My home studio is set in the beautiful Queensland town of Monto, a town framed by jagged hills and bushland, its streets lined with heritage timber buildings and a close-knit community shaped by that steady country rhythm. What would have once been the double sided verandah of our old-style Queenslander, is now my light-filled and spacious studio where all of my pieces are made.

I enjoy working with a range of materials to bring new ideas to life; whether classic or contemporary, I see each project as an opportunity to create something unique and it’s a great joy to share the work that comes from that.
